Egypt–A Great Time To Live….

This is truly a great time to live because we can make history
with prayer!

Uprising in Egypt and now in several other countries tells us
this is an unique time in History. Matthew 24:14 says, "This
Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to all the nations as
a witness, and then the end will come."

Reports abound that 25,000 people a day are receiving a
personal relationship with Jesus, around the world….WOW
is that exciting!

No matter where you live, or what you see on TV, our prayers
….absolutely our prayers, will make a difference. Most of
us are praying about what is happening in our own lives. And,
I pray for all of you in our miracle family and my country…
but NOW there is so much more for all us.

The Lord has impressed upon me, as the situation in Egypt has
changed in the last week, that prayer is making the difference
….yes, people are truly involved, but this situation is so
serious for the whole world, people are crying out to God all
over the world.   Why is this powerful and different?

Because of the 'agreement' for wisdom and peace, in the
prayers. THANK GOD!

Now, other countries are looking at their government and
willing to move out to change their situation…..again,
THANK GOD! They don't want our government interference
….but we sure can pray into these situations.

Reading Ephesians Chapter Six, we know we do not fight flesh
and blood, but spirits, principalities, rulers of darkness
of this world in the spirit realm. And, that is done with
prayer. Agreement increases the power of God.

Personally, deeply concerned about Egypt and what it could
mean to the world, I ask the Lord if I could forgive the
President for His sins and pray for him….and the Lord
said yes.

I always forgive sins before praying for people, then pray
good things for them. Forgiveness is a portal, a door, to
Heaven, it is the Heart of God's love (wanting the best for
everyone)given us to use for others, for good, for change,
for peace.

If I question whether I should forgive a person or not,
I always ask. It is very, very rare that God says no.
Most evil people are deceived, not totally evil.

I forgave the President of Egypt, then ask the Holy Spirit
to draw him into the Kindgom, and break the evil power and
assignment on him, and then spoke blessings of God for him.

Several days later he did step down. I know many were
praying. Did my prayers help? We must believe our prayers
make a difference or we should not bother. I know all our
prayers (if we are praying His will on earth as it is in
heaven) have an effect.

Then I prayed for all the people in general for blessings
and wisdom, and we must continue to do so, and for all the
other countries seeking change. If we each prayed 10 or 15
minutes a day, think of the power in agreement that would
change the world!

PLEASE JOIN ME, AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS WITH THIS EMAIL OR
YOUR OWN MESSAGE, THAT WE COME TOGETHER IN ONE SPIRIT–
THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CHANGE OUR WORLD AND BRING IN THE
            KINGDOM OF JESUS!

Peace and love to all of you, in Jesus,

Carol

Ole’ Glory For The Glory Of God….

July 4th is a big celebration in the United States….I have heard in the past our flag was called Ole' Glory, and that term goes right to my heart!

For the Glory, the Majesty and the Grace of God we pray for our Nation, our armed forces world wide and their families.  We must also pray for those in leadership, even when we don't agree with them, as the Bible directs that we should do.

Jesus changed the world with forgiveness, and when we forgive our Leaders, and pray God's will into their lives, we are using heavenly power to change things.  My understanding of Agape Love (Greek word for love in the Bible) is that it means wanting the best for everyone.  Of course we want the best for all our leaders even when we adamantly disagree with their standards or behavior.

So I hope where ever you are, you will be wearing 'red, white and blue' this weekend…..that you have the opportunity to say the pledge of allegiance to the Flag, that you will sing patriotic songs and share with our young ones, love of country!

If we do not demonstrate to the youth, if we do not bring our patriotism into the church…..how will it grow, how will we prosper?

And, church is the perfect place……

Most of all we must not forget to thank God for all we have and bless Him for all He is doing!

My thanks to Him for all of you!

Carol

Hate Crimes–Use our heart not our head!

There are so many laws and groups trying to curtail 'free speech,'  especially that of Christians.  Other groups seem to have protection but it appears to be 'open season' on Christians.    I have heard some say that no matter what, they will teach and speak about what the Bible says, regardless of the law….that sounds very noble but is it wise or effective?

"Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."  Words of Jesus in Matthew 10:16.

"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."  John 13:34,35

"Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and for beariance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth to thee to repentance?"  Romans 2:4

When we started years ago, we thought if we told people the Truth from the Bible they would change.  What a deep disappointment to find that only worked when first we loved the person (love-wanting the best for them) and encouraged them to know Jesus and the Holy Spirit and then sometimes we could share  info on 'sin' and see some change.  That only happened when the Holy Spirit worked in the situation.

I am so convinced we do not trust the Holy Spirit to do what He is so capable of doing in the will and desire of God's heart.  Because God looks for our faith–using our free will to pray for others. Tthen we need to step back and trust the Holy Spirit to work in the situation.

So we use our heart, as Jesus said, "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.  Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."  Luke 6:27,28

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

Prayer is the answer, not judgment, condemnation, or confrontation, unless of course, it is truly led by the Holy Spirit.  If we love people into the Kingdom of God, into relationship with Jesus, and give them a Bible–then they can read for themselves what God says, directs and let the Holy Spirit convict them of truth.

What good would it be to go to jail for a position that allows the media to brings more criticism to the church as a whole?  Unless of course the person wants an inside prison ministry.  I am not speaking of denying Jesus, I am talking only of adamantly defending one issue, refusing to give up  a right to be right without consideration of the cost….losing an ability to share the love of Jesus instead.

Prayer is a covert operation.  We won't tell anyone, just pray, set an example of respect and love, and the Holy Spirit will lead the army of heaven to move into those dark areas and set people free.  Not using our head (that tells us what is right and wrong right out of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil) but using  our heart (settled in the Tree of Life, the teachings of Jesus with mercy, love and grace) following Jesus example to take up our cross of forgiving and loving all men for Him, leading them to Him.

A Time For Prayer….September 11th….For The Whole World!

There are many needs throughout the world…. In America we will be standing together to pray for our country, on September 11th!

No matter where you live in the world you too can have a supernatural encounter with God by joining together to pray for your Nation.

I have had a couple of calls, and a few emails about praying ‘judgment’ or the ‘destruction of those who oppose the things of God.’  well, those comments drive me to my knees and grieve my spirit soooooo much.

We must look to our Covenant with Jesus–“If you love Me,keep my commandments.” John 14:15

Two of Jesus closest friends (disciples)had a conversation with Jesus: “And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But Jesus turned, and rebuked them, and said, ‘Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them’.”

Plus, a convicting verse by Paul, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Rom 12:21

Peter added, “Honour all men, Love the brotherhood. Fear God Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.” I Peter 2:17-18

We might have to stand physically for what we believe, in the future, but never the less, prayer is the answer–spiritual warfare–but from the heart of Jesus as He directed at the end of Matthew, end of Mark, Luke 10:19, James 2:13 and 4:7….and more!

God bless us everyone and give us mercy, grace and the ability to repent, forgive love the sinner, even as we hate the sin.

Love in our Jesus,

Carol

P S The hardest thing to do is to love people the way they are not the way we want them; only God can change the heart! And, He needs our prayers to do that! Declare what we want; calling those things that are not as though they are. Rom 4:17; Heb 4:14

Right Wing Pro-Life Terrorist Revealed….

Many were astounded, as was I, this week as a report was released in which the Director of HomeLand Security named among others….’right wing pro-life’ people to be terrorists….all terrorist considered dangerous and to be watched closely.

I looked up the meaning of terrorist and found a lot….let me share a little of that:  out of over 100 definitions they (a study group)  concludes that the ‘only general characteristic generally agreed upon is that terrorism involves violence and the threat of violence.’ Yet terrorism is hardly the only enterprise involving violence and the threat of violence. So does war, coercive diplomacy, and bar room brawls.” Hence depending on the perspective of the state a resistance movement may or may not be labelled terrorist group based on whether the members of a resistance movement are considered lawful or unlawful combatants and their right to resist occupation  is recognized. Ultimately, the distinction is a political judgment.

If, indeed, ‘right wing pro-life’ people are terrorists then it is very easy to identify their leader.  His Name is Jesus Christ. He was known to say–actually recorded for thousands of years–“Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones (children); for I say unto you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” and “But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the dept of the sea.”

Yet, Jesus was also the First to forgive sin, and offer redemption; i.e. peace, love and joy for those who opposed Him.  Seems an unlikely leader of a ‘terrorist group’?  Yet, that is the accusation in the report from the White House.

This is not an accusation against a group of people but against the very Lord of Glory, Son of God, King of Kings because all who follow Him are part of Him.  Who in their right mind would come against the most honored revered loved Man in all of History?  The spirit of stupid must have moved into the White House.

I am not of course defending those individuals who also were caught up in the ‘spirit of stupid, death and violence’ who bombed abortion clinics or took out their rage on individuals…..even followers of Jesus can be deceived.

Those who believe in moral boundaries that protect all peoples, those who value and believe in life from conception, those who have received the forgiving Grace of God, and truly follow the commandments of Jesus are told by Him, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you;”

Nuts!  That includes the director of HomeLand Security….and I am having trouble doing that right now.  However, I will, because it is a discipline….a decision of my will, not my emotions.

Jesus did say, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:”  What better way to divide and destroy our country than to have our leaders accuse (with veiled threats) the supporters of the sanctity of life?  Because we do not agree with others does not mean that we destroy each other as though we were the enemy.

Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”  That sounds down right inflammatory if a person does not understand that Jesus is talking of the supernatural realm that we are all a part of, and His kind of force is prayer.  Amazingly Jesus spoke to this situation 2000 years ago….now there is a leader we can truly follow.

There may be times when we must physically defend our country….but defend ourselves from our own leaders?  What is wrong with this picture?  President Obama, why do we not have a military person, who has personally faced the threat of loss of life and limb, in charge of HomeLand Security?  Someone who truly understands covert operations, not spending time and tax money on watching people who are defending religious freedom?

Paul, a man who knew Jesus well, said, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”  Good advice!  Quick to forgive those who know not what they do–forcefully praying against the spirits behind such deception and division.

I have said for years, if I were an Atheist, or a Muslim, or Hindu, or any other religion, living in America, out of a desire to believe whatever I chose to believe, I would want Christians in charge of the country because they will fight to protect the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.   This has been one Nation Under God, and  to insure that it will remain so will require prayer, unity of purpose (if not in doctrine), and quickly responding to the words of Jesus Christ, to keep the freedoms we have so lavishly enjoyed.

A Brief Look At Japan’s Reaction to Our Inaguration….

I thought others might enjoy this personal email I received:

Dear Carol,Just found your site in the past week. Looking forward to reading it.

I am a tall redhead from Canada, living in a suburb north of Japan’s second largest city, Osaka!

On the evening news a few hours ago, the enthusiam, hope and dreams for the incoming US President B.Obama is just outpouring everywhere.

Naturally, the

biggest hope is that Mr. O. will “fix” the world ecomomic situation PDQ– for J.people.

There’s even a city in Japan named “Obama” –on the Japanese Sea.

Apparently, a sleepy fishing town looking for a way to revive itself financially.

Seems the town’s people have learned the “hula” and are all dancing enthusiastically! It may be 5 or 6 degrees outdoors, but these people are basking in warm hopes — of what’s going to start in a few hours.

They’ve prepared an exquisite calligraghy to send to congratulate the incoming president.

Sorry, the ceremonies will start about 1:30 am. here & I have to leave to teach by 7 am. Argh!

So I’ll see the reruns tomorrow night! We’re 14 hours ahead of EST district.

God Bless America & all the caring people of the world.

Somehow this ALL feels so reminiscent of the start of the Kennedy administration!

I was just starting H.S. — telling my age! Yes, our prayers are SO needed — in a world we’ve NO idea what wonders The Lord is working out!
